We had a great time at Alpine and Raffeto Orthodontists on Friday. The class learned a lot about dental health and braces. They even watched a magic show.
Another busy week is ahead of us for Room 103!
This week, the class will be finishing up the Pet Show Today! theme unit in reading. We will continue learning about the parts of a sentence and short vowel sounds. I hope to also do some more homonym activities.
In math, the class will be learning about fact families. In Science, we will start the next chapter of the Human Body which is Nutrition. Time for healthy snacks!

Monday, October 8: Columbus Day. NO SCHOOL
Friday, October 12: Teacher Inservice Day. NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS.
