CONGRATULATIONS TO EMILY G.!!  SHE WAS OUR OCTOBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH!  EMILY WAS AN EXCELLENT MODEL FOR OUR OCTOBER VALUE: COOPERATION!  THANKS, EMILY!

November’s Value of the Month is RESPECT!

Here’s what’s going on this week in class.

Reading:  We will be wrapping up our Nature Detective theme unit with the book Where Does the Trail Lead?  The class will continue to work on main ideas, supporting details, and classifying facts.  The students will also be finishing (hopefully) writing their instructions.

In math, we will be finishing up Chapter 2, which was all about number sense.  The students will be tested on Friday for the chapter.

In Science, our theme of the Human Body is coming to an end.  The students have enjoyed learning about health, nutrition, and exercise.  Keep bringing in those healthy snacks!  Next, we will be doing a unit on Communities in Social Studies.
